POW - Prisoner of War (Summer Break)

Ken Cordier

Ken Cordier

We are excited and honored to have as our special guest today Retired Colonel Ken Cordier United States Air Force. As a fighter pilot, he flew 175 ½ combat missions over the war-plagued, barren land of Vietnam and Laos.  In today’s segment called “Ken Cordier…Prisoner of War”, you’ll hear Ken’s first-hand account of how God miraculously shielded him from death twice in one minute when his F-C was shot down over North Vietnam. Although he was immediately captured and suffered in prison for 6 years and 3 months under extremely harsh conditions, Ken will share from his heart how God cared for and protected him and how by the grace of God, he never lost his sanity…his hope…or his faith in God and Country. Ken’s story is one of intense suffering, courage, patriotism, triumph, and a powerful God always hovering protectively over him like an eagle.

Ken’s book about his experience as a fighter pilot and prisoner of war is available here: Guardian Eagle - A Fighter Pilot’s Tale
