Legacy Films Development, Inc.

The mission of Legacy Films Development, Inc. is to partner in the development, funding or production of positive media which will last for generations. Legacy’s first project was instrumental in the development of streaming live when this was a new concept. Currently in development is, ‘In Search of Steel Magnolias’, an inspirational, reality show.

In 2010, Peggy managed the production of media content in association with The California State Military Museum, in Sacramento California, capturing the heroic stories of veterans. In addition, she managed the filming of the three-day military reenactment production of Civil War Days as well as, The Military History of Alcatraz Island.

Also in 2010, she was the executive producer for The Political Channel. The goal of this project was to produce the content of political figures, with no spin or editing of their speeches. The features included the weekly press conferences of Mayor Kevin Johnson of Sacramento; The Tea Party Patriots Rally, with guest interviews including; founder Mark Meckler, Armstrong and Getty and Representative Tom McClintock. Peggy also produced special events for the Sacramento Chamber of Commerce including, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Mayor of San Francisco, Gavin Newson and Pulitzer Prize winning author Tom Friedman featured at the Greenwise Event, along with other conservative and liberal political figures.

Overseeing production of the footage for the documentary, “Wayman Tisdale - The Measure of a Man”, was a labor of love. It featured commentary from jazz saxophone artist, Tom Braxton, comedian Jonathan Slocum and recording artist, Bryan McKnight.

Peggy’s athletic production credits include the Texas UIL Championship sporting events at Reliant Stadium in Houston, The Irwin Center in Austin, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, University of Texas at Austin, Rutgers, Rice, and Baylor Universities. She has supervised the media production for high schools and junior colleges in Texas with the UIL Championship Competitions. The events included tournaments featuring baseball, soccer, swimming, diving, wrestling, tennis, basketball and football.
