Peggy Frazier O'Connor

Executive Producer, creator & HOST

Peggy approaches life with a passion for creativity and excellence. Her credits are numerous in the performance arts and in entertainment production. Peggy’s resume includes book author, Christian recording artist, motivational speaker, casting director, entertainment consultant, and producer for videos, podcasts and theatrical events. Early in her career she worked as an actress, vocalist, dancer and model. As a child, she even won third prize for the “Most Beautiful Child in America”, and appeared on The Howdy Doody Show and The Today Show. Peggy brings an innovative enthusiasm to every project she undertakes. She recognizes that her gifts come from God, to whom she gives all the credit.

At five, Peggy became the third part of a singing trio with her parents, Dr. Taylor Huntley Frazier and his wife Effie Frazier. The trio performed across America for eleven years and recorded two gospel albums - The Frazier’s Sing Songs with a Message and The Frazier’s Sing Songs of Praise. This life came to a heartbreaking halt when her father died in 1973.
Peggy graduated from Barbizon Modeling School at fifteen years of age. At sixteen, she was introduced to Richard Fredricks, formerly a lead baritone with the New York City Opera. He and his wife, Judith Fredricks, currently of Opera New York, trained her over a four-year period, grooming her for a professional career.

Simultaneously she studied with the world-famous Luigi for jazz dance, and Fred Kelly, brother of the film star, Gene Kelly, in tap dancing. Peggy graduated from the prestigious American Academy of the Dramatic Arts (as Lee Frazier) in New York City.

Upon graduating, she worked as a freelance actress for theater, television, commercials and soap operas including; Love of Life, One Life to Live and Another World. The unexpected, tragic death of her sister diverted her career from a 7-year contract with Universal Studios toward her roots as a Christian concert artist, touring nationally just as she and her parents had done. She recorded two albums, To My Father with Love and Touch Through me.
Peggy relocated to Dallas, Texas to marry and raise a family. She began producing musicals and instructing young talent through a nonprofit that she created called, Visions: A Studio for the Creative Arts. Its purpose was to mentor children in all aspects of the creative and related arts. One of her early projects was an exhibition of silk art called Silken Treasure”. The renderings featured silk art created by thirty children from the ages of five to eighteen years of age. One student in particular, Aaron Gerstler, created an awarded-winner piece of silk art piece was displayed in the White House and then at the State Capitol in Austin, Texas.
With a grant from The City of De Soto, Peggy produced several local theatrical productions, including Narnia, and the Musical version of C.S. Lewis’ The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe in which she also starred as the White Witch. Following this, Peggy produced and directed an original musical, A Cloud of Witnesses.
Peggy also produced; The Brooks Brothers; Live in Concert at Arlington Music Hall, featuring the opening acts of young singers and dancers from her Visions studio. Several of these exceptional, young people have gone on to be successful in professional careers in show business.

In 1993, Peggy starred in live theatrical productions, including an original musical by Nancy Sunshine called Silver Saddle, as well as other credits in commercials and television in Dallas Texas. In 1997, she was the lead in the independent film, Unto Thee. A divine appointment on the set of a Nike commercial led her to a close relationship with Shirley Abrams, a casting director in the Dallas film industry. Peggy began to assist Shirley and ultimately become her casting associate, in casting for all types of media. Upon Shirley’s death, Peggy continued to cast a feature film and live performances as Abrams-O’Connor Multi-media Theatrical Casting.
In 2008, Peggy created Legacy Films Development, Inc. for the purpose of creating inspirational content. In 2012, Peggy reinvented herself, taking an unanticipated hiatus from production which lead her to publish her first book, Makeup Lessons: A Story of Prayer, Healing, and Restoration at the Makeup Counter. This is an inspirational book, which speaks candidly of the transformation in her life through the power of God. The content features a written compilation of her true-life experiences as a makeup consultant, as she engaged with women from all walks of life. She offers a holistic approach to the healing of the body, mind, soul and spirit. Peggy prays that this work of love will encourage others to believe that they can survive and thrive, regardless of the challenges or heartaches they may face. With God’s help, you can begin again!
Currently, she is producing a podcast with Sharon Braxton. Their relationship began in 2005 when they co-produced an event starring Tom Braxton, featuring special guest the late Wayman Tisdale. Together they also collaborated on Catch a Rising Star, showcases in Dallas, featuring vocal, commercial, dance and film talent.
Their common goal to create positive media and their genuine affection for one another has led them to team up once again. This project is called, MAKEUP LESSONS FOR LIFE, a Podcast, inspired by her 2014 publication of Makeup Lessons. The interviews focus on men and women who have faced “curve balls” which could have caused them to give up on themselves or on God. Instead, they have chosen to let God give them a transformational “makeover”, bringing healing and renewal to themselves and those they love.

Peggy loves great music, theater, reading, cross stitching as well as travelling and playing tennis with her husband. She loves small dinner parties with friends and every opportunity she has to be with her them and her family. Jim and Peggy have been married since 2003 and reside in Dallas, Texas.
